Deputy President with Jubilee MPs at his Harambee Annex office

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua yesterday hosted Members of Parliament elected on the former ruling party, Jubilee.
During the meeting, held at his Harambee House Annex, they discussed issues touching on development in the respective areas of representation.
“Elections are over, and we must work together irrespective of our political affiliation.
Indeed, H.E President William Samoei Ruto and I have agreed that 2023 is the year of work, and we have to put the interests of the people first to build back our economy,” the Deputy President noted during the deliberations.

Kanini Kega (EALA and former Kieni MP), Sabina Chege (Nominated MP), Irene Njoki (Bahati MP), Zachary Kwenya (Kinangop MP), Dr Shadrack Mwiti (South Imenti MP), Mark Mwenje (Embakasi West MP), Amos Mwago (Starehe MP), Dan Karitho KK (Igembe Central MP), Stanley Muthama (Lamu West MP) and Lamu Senator Joseph Githuku.
The Deputy President has been spending sleepless nights trying to work out unity among various leaders.
Politicians, clergy and business community have commended his initiative saying by being united, the leaders will be able to focus on addressing the various issues affecting Kenyans.
