The beauty of life is in its diversity. Life is unpredictable, and its events are uncontrollable. We don’t know what time has hidden for us in its womb. We have to accept life and its situation and try to live accordingly. “When life gets tough, the tough get going.” This timeless proverb may be true for some, but for others, hardship can be too much to overcome.
Hi, I am Dipa Sharma {B.com (Hons), CS (inter), B.ed (Maths and Economics) from New Delhi. Single mother, blessed with twins (a boy and a girl), teacher, author and book reviewer and Founder of Cosmos Publishers. Becoming a teacher was not my choice but destiny. I wanted to be CS ( Company Secretary).

Life was smooth. I was happy , loved and focused on my studies, then my marriage got finalized in an educated family and changed my life forever!
My in-laws were all teachers by profession. I thought they would support me, but they were all narrow-minded, greedy, and insensitive people.
My husband neither had any goal in life nor did he ever encourage me. He was unemployed and wanted to live a luxurious life without hard work. He did not care about the success of his wife. The patriarchy inherent in them, never let me grow.
I was tortured physically, mentally, and emotionally. During my marriage, my in-laws cursed me and treated me like a maid. My meals would be taken away from me, and I would be shut in my room. For what, a few thousand rupees.
I always wondered what have I done to earn such behaviour from them.
No one deserves that, no one!

But I never gave up on my marriage because I had no word like divorce in my dictionary. What I used to believe is that if God has choosne this person to be my husband then I will give my 1000% to make my marriage work. I used to believe that I can change them with my unconditional love. One day they will realize that money and materialistic things can’t replace love and care. So I gave up my studies, broke all contact with meternal parents and showered them with my love and care. But thay proved me wrong they continued treating me like maid. They proved that for them money is everything.
Even they tried to kill me when i was three months expecting twins so that they could remarry their son for a considerable amount of dowry.
But as it said ” जाको राखे साँईया मार सके ना कोई “. my parents saved me from them. I feel blessed for getting the world’s most incredible parents. My mother encouraged her to pursue B.ed.
I was struggling to come out of that darkness, then the great almighty took my mom. With whom I am supposed to share my life.

To me, losing my mom was like a spinal fracture. For any girl, there are only two safest places in the world. Lap of her mother and arms of her husband. I was the one who lost both of them. But I do have strong and supportive arm of my father around me and mesmagorical smile of my kids.

A single mother has to cross thousands of barriers to establishing her identity in the society. Because people generally confuse single women with available women. Although I was mentally and emotionally exhausted still for the sake of my children, I motivated myself to accept reality and move ahead with positivity. Finally, I got the courage to move on when I surrendered myself to khatu Shyamji.
When I was establishing my tutorial, people used to discourage me specially womens. But by the grace of Shyam Baba, I prove myself worthy and made my parents proud. Now I am successfully running my own tutorial, “Sanwariya Tutorials”.

Being an introvert, writing helped me come out of my frustration and pain.
“My first quote book is “श्याम शरण” which is dedicated to khatu Shyam Ji. “Broken (No rebuilding herself)” is my debutant poetry book. It is a women’s motivational book. I am currently working on my first novel.
“The struggles of my life have increased my experiences and inspired me to fight against all odds in my life. It made me realise that no one gets anything ahead of time and more than luck.”

It’s our responsibility to work hard with dedication and complete conviction; Khatuwala is in charge of everything else. Work hard get success but keep it with your family and friends. Because you can see the golden glow of your success only in their eyes.
I am co-author in more than 110 anthologies including 4 international anthologies. I have compiled 6 books so far and have reviewed more than 90 books.
