The word disciple comes from the word discipline, so you must maintain a level of discipline( prayers, studying the word, meditating, praying, sacrifices, etc) in order to maintain the power. God wants us to seek His strength/ help, it written “ Woe unto those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the Lord,… When the LORD stretches His hand, he who helps will stumble, he who is helped will fall; both will perish together( Isaiah 31: 1-3).”
It is written, “ It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace ( Hebrews 6:4-6).” This means there are people who have experienced the power of God, His presence in fullness, and what a great delight which is accessible to those who seek it.
Be encouraged, you can allow God to empower you, to manifest His power here on earth as it is in heaven. We see in Exodus 31: 1-3, God tells Moses there is a person by the name Bezalel, who He has enabled( skill, knowledge and ability) and put His spirit in him to help him build the tabernacle in exact details. We get empowered by God, when we acknowledge we are limited in our natural capacities, when you understand the natural limitation, and you stretch your hand, and tell God, “ I need to be STRENGTHENED from above, in Jesus Christ mighty name: AMEN.” And do NOT limit the Spirit of God to only speaking in tongues, HE can take you beyond speaking in tongue and give you the SUPERNATURAL CAPABILITY TO FULFILL YOUR DIVINE PURPOSE : (1 Peter 4: 10).”
