Dr. Paul Wanjohi, the founder and managing director of Sharp Education Centre, has issued a crucial reminder to parents and guardians, stressing the importance of vigilance during the upcoming extended December holiday. With students about to embark on this extended break, Dr. Wanjohi emphasized the need for parents to be watchful, as their children could be at risk of engaging in various social issues, particularly drug abuse and exposure to inappropriate content.
Dr. Wanjohi shared this message during a vibrant graduation ceremony where eighty-six pupils graduated from PP2 to Grade 1, and others reached the milestone of culminating Grade 6, transitioning to Junior Secondary.
Furthermore, Dr. Wanjohi highlighted that the Class eight students, who will be taking their final exams next week, represent the last cohort under the 8-4-4 curriculum. This comprehensive message serves as an important reminder to parents and guardians to ensure the safety and well-being of their children during the upcoming holiday season.
