Naro Moru Level IV hospital is set to be opened anytime following the delivery of equipment that had stalled the process.
Yesterday,Β some of the Equipment were delivered at the facility in an exercise that was overseen by area Member of Parliament Kanini Kega.
This comes a few weeks after Kega promised that the facility will be up and running before the Jubilee government’s tenure is over.
In an interview, Kega said he had through President Uhuru Kenyatta procured the required equipment worth over Sh300 million.
There has been a tag of war between Kega and the county government of Nyeri under the leadership of Mutahi Kahiga over who should take credit over the multi-mega hospital.
The hospital is funded by the World Bank.
