FORGIVENESS

Worth Noting:

• How many people have you forgiven? how many people you still can’t forgive? thus, we truly need to learn the heart and ways of Christ which is forgiveness. Well, guess what? we’re still alive because Christ forgives our sins,  if it wasn’t for such our wages would have been death. We’re alive not because of our wisdom, wealth, health and influence but because of our Lord Jesus Christ.
• The Christian life is all about forgiving our fellow men for things of the past and present, such a heart of forgiveness can heal the wounded sore in this earthly kingdom. Am also alert that most people die because of the things that have been done to them and they keep those things in their minds which results in their untimely death.

I believe we all have seen that most Christians are not serving God with a forgiven heart.

Similarly, the majority of us do not acknowledge the fact that Christ Jesus our Lord died for us on the cross of cavalry with him forgiving our sins.

We all have read about his journey, we read about how he was crucified by his followers. But still, he didn’t hold any grief against them, compared to how many Christians are gross with an unforgiving heart.

To be logical in this world, must opportunities, lives have been lost because Christians cannot forgive their fellow Christians and their brothers of the Muslim religion.

It’s because of the unforgivness that has polluted our hearts as Christians that we do lose our heavenly treasures, and the Bible say a heart that cannot forgive cannot see the true nature of God.

I’ve noticed that most people are bench under traditional/ regional belief that, if a man offends you he/she must face the consequence of their actions. Such beliefs are the cause/question WHY A COUNTRY CAN NOT PROGRESS, drawing to the political entity we have seen how politicians react whenever there is a transfer of power to the opposition party( ELECTED PARTY ). Instead, of them working for their motherland, they would be busy with unnecessary revenge on their fellow brethren( politicians ). Revenge that is fired up by their unforgiving heart, which to the extent caused the poor to suffer.

However, if we are true and have the heart to forgive our brothers and sisters, lives would have been lived as if we were born and grown in heaven. It was due to the forgiveness of Christ and his father that we are saved, a little forgiveness can heal the wounded heart in a whole city.

We find our soul in an age where most people cannot say ” I FORGIVE YOU ” after all that you have done to them.

So are you one of those civilizations who battle to say I “FORGIVE YOU”? yes, there are a lot of people who battle to forgive the tiny things of the past.

It’s because of unforgivness, that has made parents turn their backs on children and children turn away their backs from those who gave birth/raise them to become who they’re today.

REASONS WHY WE SHOULD NOT FORGIVE AND FORGET

• Think About your self
• Some people are just evil, cannot stop even if you try to forgive them.
• The infliction was too traumatic to forget
• Damages that have been done cannot be undone.
• They mean what they did, and they’re not sorry.
• You don’t want to forgive them
• Prevent them from doing the same
• Because they have been saying it
• They have planned every bit of their actions
• To make them realize what they have done
• To make them feel your pain in their conscience

REASONS WHY WE SHOULD FORGIVE AND FORGET

• It set you free
• It helps you move forward with your life
• It begins your healing process
• It removes the anger and malice from your heart
• It creates a connection between you and God the almighty
• You’re no longer giving them someone else authority over your mind and hearts
• Forgiveness is one of life’s greatest teacher
• Forgiveness helps to realise the victim from the mentality
• You create peace in your heart
• It helps pave the way to God’s heavenly kingdom.

Now, do you know that there are people who are dead and want to forgive other people because of what they have done to them?, but God didn’t give them the chance to forgive. Because While these people were alive they didn’t think of forgiveness in their hearts, so brethren have you thought of forgiving again?

Have you thought about the purpose by which Christ was sent to earth?.

To be truthful, we should learn to forgive things from the present and the past. To forgive doesn’t start when you are dead nor when you are sick, forgiveness truly starts now and not tomorrow or in the future.
