Luanda – Angola
It was on a Friday in the Angolan way, Fridays in Angola are considered great days, because many leave their jobs very early I remember when I was a university student, the disciplinary load was very low, it wasn´t just in university, now that I´m talking about less student load, I also remember that in high school we almost didn´t study, almost no one showed up at school, but it was different when the exam season arrived, there was almost no Friday.
Once, one of my foreign professors at the university said that he would not recommend anyone to come and study in Angola, but the bizarre thing is that he was a professor at an Angolan university. Something is wrong, don´t you think?! Today, it´s Friday, we won´t talk about boring things, I know you should ask yourself, because I think school is boring. I know that studying is wonderful, but it´s only wonderful when the teacher makes us travel without leaving our desks, if not this way, so school is boring.
- Young people, ending a love relationship is boring, neh?
Me, Cláudio, Francelmo and Enerine heard this question from Mama Zipora.
- Annoying? — Cláudio asked.
- Yes, yes, very annoying! Because when that happens, our ex mates want sadness, is it after the end of a love relationship? Is it necessary to be sad? Say, dear reader.
The conversation gained legs, arms and head, we discussed all afternoon about the end of love relationships, but what left us most uneasy was the false concern of the partners when the we end, we intend to be brave or victims? This I can´t explain, I think it´s the simplest way to say “ Goodbye my love”. If so, because nobody likes “ Goodbye my love”. The conversation continued, in its contradictory way, Francelmo said something else and Cláudio too and mama Zipora and her daughter Enerine sometimes agreed with Cláudio and other times with Francelmo.
I´m always a good listener, when it´s a love affair I don´t have much to contribute, because my experiences don´t allow me to be an expert in the matter, so I ate with my eyes fixed on the speaker, I rarely nodded to agree. Love is a feeling, and it´s very strong, that´s why, to this day, I find it difficult to explain, and to make matters worse, it´s abstract.
