The Mt Kenya Times
As we come into the world
Stealing the hearts of many
Pink barbies
We have a great mission
Walk on our own two feet
Learn from our mistakes
Care for those who need us
Angels of empathy
Standing up for ourselves
In every space we find ourselves in
Juggling the balls life throw
In the end, winning and queening
Misogynists our arch enemies
Feminists doctrines our daily bread
Girl power unifying us all
The little girl in every woman clamoring for identity
You and you, are the enlightened girl child
