Gorata Mighty Ntshwabi is known as Poko Boswa and she is from southern part of
Botswana.
A single album is coming up in October. When interviewed Gorata said “The song is about the expression of the love for my mother land Africa, the sacred womb that gave me shelter, protected me from any harm and gave me food,
The sacrosanct territorial integrity that is envied by multitudes.”
The music genre is jazz the music for all in combination of traditional and contemporary in Setswana, English, Sesarwa and other African languages across Africa.
The music is powered with the serenity of poetry both traditional and contemporary and chanted with ululations.
The melody and prestigious sound is for all ages and is all made to inspire and soothe one’s mind.
Gorata feels that poetry is educational, therapeutic and recreational.
Gorata has been a performer for quiet sometime and is a very comfortable performer.
She is a good networker having collaborated with various Africans.
We hope that the crowds shall enjoy her melody; we wish her all the best.
