I thought i had forgotten
My past life of misery
But it all came back again
Springing thurder and hailstones
In rush of an acidic rain
My soul had healed
But in the mess i had dipped myself again
And the wound was more than the first
Paining even the strongest bone
I remembered a darkened door
That i used for exist
And how i stood there waiting
To have a healthy leg to run
Thunder gripped the earth
Lightening scrawed the sky
And i was just bleeding
With not even a single soul to help
I thought i had forgotten
How busses swayed
How motor vehicles passed
And the street was a river of rain
Leaving me with my tears rolling
And my heart wild and grey
While my eyes spoke which my lips couldn’t
For i was in pain
Yet i thought i had forgotten
