Health Services back to normalcy at Nduru Level Four Hospital after the healthcare workers downed their tools following the attacks from a group of individuals.
This incident occurred just a month after Doctors and nurses at Nduru Hospital in South Mugirango sub-county of Kisii County downed their tools due to an attack on the hospital by a rowdy crowd armed with crude weapons raided the hospital and critically wounded several healthcare workers.
Addressing the press outside Kisii County Commissioner’s office union officials said that they have agreed to resume their services.
Moses Onkenke Nurses union Regional Branch Secretary said that they have come to an agreement with the National and County government to return to work with the assurances of the security to healthcare workers.
Onkenke urged politicians to refrain b from interfering with health matters which can paralyze the services rendered by medics.

Kisii Deputy governor Robert Monda warned politicians to stay away from inciting members of the public to cause chaos unnecessary the incident which led to the healthcare workers to withdraw their services.
Monda said that the residents have suffered since the closure of that hospital and assured them they are going to receive services as before used to be.
He lauded the medics for agreeing to turn back to work to give their services to the residents since they have been seeking services from far away.
“I besiege politicians to look for amicable solution of solving issues instead of taking law into their hands, “he said.
County commissioner Tom Anjere assured the healthcare workers of around_ the _clock security and promised that it will be tightened twenty four hours.
Anjere assured them and guaranteed all level four hospitals in every sub county would be secured and security measures have been put in place to prevent such incidents from recurring .
He called upon politicians to provide good services to the members of the public rather than inciting chaos and act responsibly in addressing public grievances.
