Let me rest old friend,
the journey has been cruel ,
some few minutes is all I ask ,
I haven’t given up old friend,
I will fight on but not today,
For my soul is weary,
and reality is tormenting my spirit ,
Don’t tell me I’m too young,
I fight at the Frontline every moon,
and life keeps on bruising my spirit ,
my heart gets cold everyday
as I wait for that girl called hope,
maybe hope doesn’t want me to wait for her ,
Take my message to the future,
that today I will swallow the bitter pills of patience,
like a soldier I will fight on ,
my howls will lead the way ,
But if I get there and I’m a mess
don’t judge me ,for hope didn’t show up ,
So I married her step sister ,
they called her drugs,
