Despite the fact that Kenyans wants everything to be digitalised to avoid any election rigging from happening. The IEBC is not up to the task because not everywhere in the country is connected to 4G connectivity.
Some remote places like the North Eastern counties such as Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir are poor in network connectivity even the 3G is an uphill task to obtain.
Therefore, it is upon the electorate committee to sit down and draft again because the clock is ticking. They have to employ electronic election where it is possible and have a backup system that is manually operated.
This will reduce cases in the courts concerning election riggings that maybe have happened in different polling stations.
Hence the IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati should solve these problems as earlier as possible to avoid post-election violence that happen in any election that is undertaken.
