Indecisiveness

- Most of the bad things in life come in nice packages so as to entice potential evil doers to engage in them. When undecided on what to be done the likelihood of you falling in that trap is enhanced as everyone prefers what seems favourable in life. It is only after you fall in trap when you will have a deep thought about your actions and realize the mess that you have been put in to.

All over the world societies are governed by laws whether written or unwritten but in all the societies there are those who are fond of navigating these regulations doing what is wrong and not clearly provided for in the existing rules therefore going unpunished reasons being they are able to identify the loopholes in the existing laws and use them to their advantage. Upon them being caught that is when they prove that they have not broken any rule. It is usually at such points that many laws are amended, others drafted and enacted.
When your boss is manipulative and you are not firm enough he is likely to order you to engage in such activities. Having known that you can be easily intimidated and lack of clarity in your mind on various issues then you become vulnerable to such instructions.
Alexander the Great can be referenced by his saying that he is not afraid of an Army of lions lead by a sheep but he afraid of sheep lead by a lion. When you are a team leader and you happen to be indecisive you make those who rely on your instructions to be shaky too as you are likely to instruct them to do one thing at this time only to change your mind few minutes or hours later when they have just started, halfway or already completed.
Could there be someone else with a similar rank to yours who is firm enough and he issues directives at same time with you to the same staff they will definitely follow his instructions and temporarily ignore yours as they know that they can easily shift your stand as compared to your colleague. Whether his directives are erroneous they will be followed as he will not be willing to negotiate about them.
Those who promote certain good principles are willing to go to any cost to ensure what they subscribe to succeeds. Should there be further success then they will enjoy continued prosperity as the path they have chatted will continue rewarding them.

Indecisiveness leads to unpredictability so no matter how good a plan someone has for you, he is likely to share it and trust it to someone else who he feels is worthy to be trusted as opposed to your flopping character even if the other person may be inferior to you in experience.
Firmness in decision making help you to use every channel to the conclusive end if it is favourable stick to it if unfavourable mark it and quit leaving no room for future entry unless conditions change whereas indecisiveness leaves room for changing positions which could lead to confusion and difficulties in auditing your processes thereby allowing room for unnecessary manipulations.
