A law firm foundation says will fully sponsor bright students from vulnerable families in Soin Sigowet Sub County will benefit from the secondary education scholarships.
As the parents prepares for the school reopening before the end of this month ,Kericho student who scored a total marks of had to smile after getting getting a full scholarship towards joining form one.
Dennis Kibet ,a former students of Chemegong Primary School who dreams to be a pilot after completion of his studies says life has been challenging while studying in the primary section due to his vulnerability as an orphan and could not hid his joy after given a fully sponsorship.
‘The earth hasn’t been conducive without parents ,walking a distance of about 2 kilometers per day to school wasn’t easy since I started my primary school education and finally attained 286. Today do thank God for great help through Wakili Kemboi foundation by awarding me the scholarship,’ Kibet says .
Kibet urged his colleagues not to lose hope no matter the challenges they are facing throughout the life and more so to performed in their academics.
According to the CEO of the Wakili Kemboi Foundation,Gilbert Kemboi said many parents are undergoing hard time as they prepare learners for the learning and there is need for the vulnerable families across the sub county to get assistance from the foundation.
“Scholarship is a motivation to the students from the region who have scored and lacks fees to continue with their studies in the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results’’,Kemboi says.
He called upon various stakeholders to a join effort in enhancing education matters for the students from the marginalized area to achieve their dreams. ‘My driving force is to keep every child’s dreams come true.
Kemboi, a Kericho based lawyer says the foundation is none profit organization which aims in assisting the vulnerable in the community through various charity sectors.
