Kieni constituency Member of Parliament Kanini Kega has intensifies his bid for a third term.
Straight from his official tour in Italy, Kega yesterday hit the road by visiting some of his constituents where he continued to implore upon them to support his quest to defend the seat.
Among the areas he toured were Bagdad and lusoi in Kieni East Sub-County where he met thousands of his supporters and outlined his achievements so far and what he intends to do once he secures another term which some of the constituents have dubbed, “Season III”.
The supporters vowed to vote for him during the August 9th General Election saying he had delivered the pledges he made to them, among them improvement of infrastructure in schools, rehabilitation of roads and enhancement of security.
Kega is being opposed by among others United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate Anthony Njoroge Wainaina alias Chieni, Democratic Party of Kenya (DP) candidate Stephen Kiriungi Muchire and Chama Cha Kazi (CCK) candidate Martin Wachira Keen.
