The Deputy President Prof Kithure Kindiki has warned the opposition leaders to stop misleading Kenyans with cheap propaganda and unhealthy Campaigns
The DP castigated those leaders who he said held big positions previously in government but squandered their chances.
“Your time is up, Kenyans will never again buy useless empty rhetoric, empty slogans and useless talks,” said Kindiki.
The DP was speaking in Chumani, Kilifi North Constituency, Kilifi County County on Friday during the Women Economic Empowerment.

He assured the coastal region residents and other regions that depends on fishing and the blue economy that the national government has factored them with billion of shillings to expand seven fish landing sites.
“The government is expanding fish landing sites in Lingalunga, Mombasa and kilifi where landing sites in Kichwa Cha Kati and Cha Pili are nearing completion.
“The President has ordered that after the completion of the two landing sites, the government will buy two Deep sea fishing modern boats in Kwale, Mombasa, Kilifi, Tana River and all the regions in the Indian Ocean waters that will boost fisher folks.
Prof Kindiki said that President Ruto has supported the beach management units with KSh3.2B so that the residents can make a living with fishing and blue ecomony.
He pointed out that the ongoing construction of Modern produce markets in Watamu, Shella in Malindi, Mazeras among others is nearing completion.
He also announced that the Climate Works Programme will commence on Monday and will see the absorption of 110,000 youths.
The Deputy President also outlined that the government has factored the construction of affordable hostels in Kilifi North Constituency that will benefit students in
Pwani University that has been earmarked to get 1075 units while KMTC Kilifi North will get 300 units.

The DP revealed that KSh1.8B has been set aside for last mile electricity connectivity in Kilifi County that will benefit 20,000 new households where Kilifi North Constituency has a budget of KSh253M for 3,300 households.

Other were Marwa Maisori Kitayama (Kuria East), Rachel Nyamai (Kitui South), Geoffrey Mulanya (Nambale) Innocent Mugabe (Likuyani) Sabina Chege (Nominated), Emmanuel Wangwe (Navakholo), Feisal Abdalla (Msambweni), Johanah Ngeno (Emurua Dikir), Bernard Kitur (Nandi Hills), Abdirahman Mohamed Abdi (Lafey), Catherine Omanyo (Busia), Fatuma Masito (Kwale), Mishi Mboko (Likoni), Gertrude Mbeyu Mwanyanje (Kilifi), Paul Katana (Kaloleni), Peter Shake (Mwatate), John Bwire (Taveta), Fred Kana (Shinyalu) and a host of Members of Kilifi County Assembly.
The leaders said President Ruto’s development track record was clear and he would serve the Constitutional two presidential terms.
