The County Government of Laikipia and Habitat for Humanity Kenya has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding that will benefit the two entities.
The signing of the MoU was done by Governor Joshua Irungu and Mr. Anthony Okoth, the National Director, Habitat for Humanity Kenya, in an event that took place at the Governor’s office in Nanyuki town.
The MoU will ensure a structured way of development, planning and funding for improved quality of life and service delivery in Laikipia County.
During the event, Governor Irungu assured Habitat for Humanity of his administration’s deliberate intentions of creating a conducive environment for development partners to implement their agenda in the County.
The county boss also applauded Habitat for their commitment to complementary interventions that seek to improve the quality of life for the people of Laikipia.
Also present during the ceremony was the area Deputy Governor Reuben Kamuri.
