The presence of Lawyer Levi Munyeri in the Mukurwe-ini constituency parliamentary race has thrilled residents of the area.
The 29-year-old distinguished lawyer is vying for the seat on a Republican Liberty Party (RLP) ticket and is known to be a vocal supporter of William Ruto’s Hustler Agenda on the ground.
He addresses the public in a passionate manner and has stood out for his eloquent and clear articulation of his agenda dubbed, the Pesa Mfukoni Agenda.
His Agenda mainly focuses on agriculture, particularly coffee farming and how brokers and Middle men in the sector can be phased out so that farmers can access foreign markets directly and get the best price for their coffee.
A coffee farmer himself, he has also vowed to file a major Constitutional Case at the Nyeri High Court to challenge laws and regulations in the coffee sector that exploit farmers.
In the parliamentary seat, he is the only candidate who has taken the effort to print his manifesto and distributed it to the electorate.
In his well-articulated manifesto, he also states his ambitious plans for the youth, including the construction of a Youth Empowerment and Talent Centre in the Constituency to tap on youth talent and offer them vocational training.

He has also promised Mukurwe-ini residents that he will address the issue of roads and learning institutions infrastructure as well as water and electricity connections in all homesteads.
Munyeri is fighting it with among others, the incumbent Anthony Kiai who is defending his seat on The Service Party (TPS), Speaker of the County Assembly John Kaguchia who is the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate and Jubi Jubilee’s Eng Kariuki Wa Muchemi.
