Council members of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) yesterday paid a courtesy call to the Director of Criminal Investigations, Mr Mohammed Amin, at his Mazingira Complex offices along Kiambu road.
The members led by LSK president Eric Theuri, congratulated Mr Amin following his appointment and pledged to support him as he takes over the leadership of the country’s premier criminal investigations agency.
During their meeting, the council members sought for cordial working relationship between detectives and their members, who are key stakeholders in the delivery of justice to victims of crime.
On his part, Mr Amin who took his oath of office three days ago committed to not only better the relationship, but also maintain an open door policy to all stakeholders and partners willing to work together with the Directorate in the fulfillment of its mandate.
