Samchi Group Founder and Chief Executive Officer Madam Esther Muchemi has something unique for us today to digest.
Madam CEOs theme for today is “The Brand”
A BRAND
“A brand in my context today can be a product, service or a person that has or have made a name that is easily distinguished and noticed.
It is known above average, in other words, it has a name.
Some brands are known at village level, others at town, national or even global.
What people must know is at whatever level, a brand takes time and resources to build.
So, it is very saddening when people do or release information, usually not true, to destroy another brand.
Even if certain information could be true, it is always good to be sensitive and don’t do things that do not necessarily change anything other than mess a brand.
My father’s bookshop had this hanged the wall:
If you love our service tell others, but if you don’t please tell us.
I strongly feel this should be the spirit.
Before you say or write what is in your mind about others or a brand, just think twice, and if it adds no value to it, just keep quiet.
Better still let the person concerned; know about your concerns in private including in boxing them.
Honestly what does it cost you to be “Good”.
Don’t use the cry of others to increase your fame. Haters need to just start loving.
What goes round comes around.
Brands take time to make and it’s even more expensive to preserve them.
Be sensitive.
Over to you my people.
Madam CEO.’
