Matatu Owners Association President Urges Caution As January Back To School Peaks

As Kenyans prepare to return to their destinations following the festive December holidays, the President of the Matatu Owners Association (MOA), Albert Karakacha, has issued an important message to all road users.
Recognizing the increased activity on the roads this week and next, Karakacha called on drivers, especially those operating public service vehicles, to exercise utmost caution during this busy travel period. He emphasized the critical role of responsible driving in ensuring the safety of passengers and other road users.
“Safety is paramount,” said Karakacha. “We urge all drivers to be vigilant, adhere to traffic regulations, and prioritize the well-being of their passengers. Let’s make every journey a safe one.”
