In the environment conservation journey, Dedan Kimathi Foundation has been able to advance under collaborations and partnerships. Dagoretti Greeners Community is one of the most committed tree growing groups based in Nairobi. It has benefitted quite much in the activities held together with the Foundation.
As a group, it has the goodwill of Dagoretti South M.P John Kiarie alias KJ. The M.P lost his father David Waweru Ng’ethe who succumbed to cancer on Wednesday 10th May 2023.
As a great environmentalist, Dedan Kimathi Foundation paid him a visit to condole with him and his family for the immeasurable loss of their father. The team jointly planted 3 indigenous ceremonial trees at the Dagoretti NG-CDF office premises to create memories of the departed soul.
