Mount Kenya University Alumni from The School of Hospitality, Travel & Tourism Management have Secure Jobs in Europe
According to the Dean School of Hospitality,Travel and Tourism Management,Jane Kanjuru, Mount Kenya University makes sure that once their students are well trained and graduate, they also source for both local and international jobs for them. Currently from the school of Hospitality, Travel and Tourism Management 15 students have secured 3-year contract jobs in Europe. The alumni who have already started to travel for their assignments will be working in the Reception, Food and Beverage Service and Food production areas.
“As we endeavor to produce graduates who are job creators and not job seekers,the University is also committed in securing job opportunities whenever they arise both locally and abroad,” she said.
The Dean said Mku produces graduands high degree of knowledge, skills and competence and that is why they are easily able to start their own enterprises and/or secure jobs.
