My names are Mogami onex Mojatlou
- Where were you born:
I was born Maun Botswana
- Stage name:
Mr onex (Lavaboi),,,my people (fans)hype me on stage as PUMBA or youngest and badness in madness
- How long have you done this:
I’d say 8 years now because since 2016 that’s when my pastures got greener but started at a very young age, when I was in primary, my uncles would play instruments and i sing along, so that how I established myself as a singer..
- Any album coming…:
Well I can’t promise about an album yet because i feel it’s too early and so for now my goal us to atleast collaborate with someone from outside Botswana, i think that will qualify me to make an album, but my people (fans) are badly looking forward for one so i can only promise for an EP soon…
- Collaborations are you keen to collaborate..:
Yes I am and my collaboration conditions depend on how good you are vocally and in writing of lyrics to make me charge you or not so far there are big artists I’m aiming to collaborate with since i was recognised i one of them so I’m all ready and available if one hits me up
- What motivates you:
My mom motivates and inspires me she imparted in me and I’ve got from HER the spirit of being brave, hardworking, not giving up, and mostly being Godly…
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years:
Well in 5 years in see myself in Lagos, I see myself a well-established record label owner that will be sign and bringing up a lot of young talented artists in Botswana.
- Do you have fans:
Yes fans, I do have, lots of them, but not as many as compared to those I have outside Botswana..
My last word is for my people, to believe in themselves, be positive, trust in God, trust the process, keep focus and stay out of trouble.. #ONE LOVE TO MY PEOPLE @PUMBA
