For Mount Kenya times newspaper

By Our Correspondent
On the 26th of February at Linga Longa, the Mulher Forte African literature awards project held its second annual literature awards whereby various writers and poets were honored including some fraternities in media who made the awards process successful.
The likes of Mr Tshepo Lesenyamotse from Botswana, for coordination of the project, Mr Samuel Moshokolo for creative content were amongst the awarded people as well as the Ndmaxmovies who helped with videographer to record the awards event.
However the international authors did not make it to the arena and Ms Paula.O.M.Otukile the founder lamented on financial challenges that made things slow due to lack of presence of the winners made it hard to make the event memorable even the mobilization of the project had resource challenges.
However the Mount Kenya times continued to support the event hence the awards project called in to award the media paper an honorary award for dedication and publicity!
Ms Otukile on interview with Mount Kenya times expressed the need for writers, poets, countries, embassies to help in the coordination and help of awards project so that the event can be massive and fruitful, the trophies to reach each individual needs money as courier costs and some participants immediately after the awards project usually lament to receive the award ASAP despite the lack of funds and mobilisation fund or contribution!

However Ms Otukile mentioned that United we win, divided we fall because she expressed a spirit of pull him/ her Down syndrome that persisted on young generation that needed to be eliminated as the writers need to help each other rise!
Mulher forte simply means a strong woman and Ms Otukile emphasized that she was a strong woman and despite lack of funds or support she would not give up on the project!
Well done to young Africans who scooped an award this second annual Mulher Forte African literature awards project!
