In every person’s life, everything and everyone has its place. Some things can be replaced, but there is one person whose place no one can ever fill—our mother. The peace, harmony, stability, and happiness of a family, as well as the health and well-being of its children, often rest on the shoulders of one person. This person is our precious mother, who takes on this responsible and honorable duty with all her heart, never complaining, always holding her head high, and finding the strength to face life’s hardships while supporting those around her.
Mother! The most magical word in the world. A mother’s heart and love are like an endless ocean, always waving with affection. Mothers love their children unconditionally, without expecting anything in return. Even when they are in pain, they do not show it. As the saying goes, “When a child gets a splinter, the mother feels the pain.” You understand this saying best when hardship comes your way. You then realize how great a mother truly is. When you suffer, she suffers even more. When you rejoice, she is happier than anyone.
A kind soul who always helps both young and old, guiding them on the right path. A loving mother who understands the hearts of all family members. A compassionate woman who raises children who will serve their homeland. If we were to describe our mother, words would not be enough. Behind this word lies a whole universe of meaning. The more we praise her, the more our hearts rejoice.
As I write about mothers, my own dear mother comes to mind. I feel her warmth. I want to share a personal story from my life. When I was accepted into university, unlike others, I did not feel joy or gratitude. My mother repeatedly reminded me to be thankful and happy for this opportunity. However, because of my ingratitude, I could not truly experience the joy of being a student. Even my mother’s happiness turned into sadness. She spent countless sleepless nights by my side. No treatment helped, and in the end, surgery was the only option. Even though my mother was not physically present during the operation, she prayed for me from afar, from Khorezm.
Mother, what did you feel at that moment? I regret not listening to you in time. I now understand that you were right. You worried about me, you prayed for me from a distance. Maybe you suffered even more than I imagined. As I write these words, tears fill my eyes. May no mother ever see her child in pain. Mother, I have hurt you many times. Thinking about it breaks my heart. I feel unworthy of being your daughter. But I promise to change, to fulfill your dreams. Mother, you have taught me to cherish life and every moment. I am learning so much from you. Mother, you are my everything. You are the basil that carries the scent of paradise. I love you deeply.
Mothers are willing to give up their own lives for their children if necessary. The story below reflects this very idea.
In a distant village, a sorrowful mother lived alone. Like many others, she suffered loss and pain because of war. In the middle of her yard stood a large tree, a legacy left by her only son. Before going off to war, he had planted the tree with great care and affection. From early spring to late autumn, the mother sat in its shade, remembering her beloved son. She treated the tree as if it were her child, leaning on it, pouring out her sorrows to it. Whenever she spoke to the tree, she thought, “Its fruit resembles my son’s face, and its rustling leaves are like his voice.” Just as she had raised her son, she nurtured the tree through all seasons.
Our mothers are truly great beings. They are our earthly angels. Even in religious teachings, it is emphasized that we must respect and honor our mothers.
In conclusion, we can say that a mother is an irreplaceable person who spends sleepless nights for her child, tirelessly working for their success, and spreading kindness to those around her. A mother is the only one who sincerely prays for her child, wishes them happiness, and supports them through good and bad times, no matter what. She is our light on dark and rainy days, our support when we stumble, our joy in success, and our comfort in failure.
Mother, I owe you a lifetime of gratitude.
Your lullabies still echo in my mind.
You taught me to speak, to read and write,
And when I am in pain, your heart trembles with mine.
