Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Agnes Kagure celebrates Easter with senior citizens

Nairobi City County gubernatorial aspirant on Jubilee ticket Agnes Kagure spent some of her time during the Easter holidays with dozens of senior citizens.
Ms Kagure treated the aged with various goodies which included clothing and food.
“The elderly are our greatest treasures, and yet, they’re often abandoned and left to spend their golden years in misery, want, and neglect. However, that should not be the case, and as individuals, institutions and governments, we can change that,” she noted.
To commemorate Christ’s love during the Easter season she spent a day with elderly women from different wards where she shared gifts and hearty moments with them.
“I was greatly encouraged by their joy, stories, blessings and prayers. I continue my initiatives to reach even more elderly people and those abled differently. The leadership we seek to usher in will have a place and plan for all; the elderly, the youth, women, and PLWDs, so that we all move forward together while leaving no one behind,” she disclosed.
Ms Kagure is expected to battle it for Jubilee ticket with chairman, Kenya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Richard Ngatia.
