Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui empowers various groups in Turi ward, Molo

The youth and self-help groups in Turi Ward, Molo Sub-County are now empowered and can earn a living to support themselves and their families.
Nakuru County Governor Lee Kinyanjui yesterday distributed a public address system, seven 100-seater tents, 700 chairs, 14 hairdryers, 13 blow driers, 13 shaving machines and 220 motorcycle umbrellas to selected groups from the area.
The youth were also given football and volleyball teams sports kits, balls and a darts set.
Orher youth and women groups in the area had initially benefitted from car wash machines, incubators and chicks.
Further, the Governor disclosed, farmers in the area have embraced the pyrethrum revival program and are earning money from the crop and alongside others in others sectors will also get biofertiliser we purchased, mostly to be used as top dressing.
