The National Police Service Commission has announced a massive recruitment exercise where it seeks to employ 5,000 Kenyans to be trained as Police Constables.
The exercise will be carried out countrywide and will commence on Thursday, 24th March 2022 , at listed sub-county recruitment centres. The exercise will also take place at the DCI headquarters.
The applicants must among other things, meet the following conditions
- Be a citizen of Kenya
- Hold a Kenya National Identity Card
- Possess a minimum qualification of βD+β( Plus) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination with a βD+β (Plus) in either English or Kiswahili languages;
- Be aged between 18 and 28 years for holders of KCSE Examination Certificate or its equivalent, and up to 30 years for diploma and degree holders.
The announcement comes a few weeks after cons circulated a fake recruitment advert which was promptly condemned by the Government.
