Notably, the school achieved remarkable results, with 137 candidates, including 28 distinctions 102 credits and 4 passes.
Ombuna attributed this success to the unity and cooperation of all stakeholders, resulting in exemplary outcomes.
Ombuna encouraged the youth to enroll in these institutions to acquire skills necessary for their livelihoods.
He noted the growing number of unemployed young people and those struggling to obtain certifications for their existing skills.
He urged youths to embrace the opportunities for skill development provided by TVET courses, emphasizing the need for innovation and the acquisition of skills for personal growth.
Furthermore, Ombuna challenged the youth to think creatively and consider technical institutions for skill acquisition.
He emphasized that to succeed, it is essential to think beyond conventional paths.
He urged them to embrace courses offered at Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) institutions as these skills are critical for the country’s attainment of Vision 2030.
Ombuna emphasized the need for a change in attitude, dispelling the misconception that TVETs were only for students who had failed their exams.
He clarified that TVET programs are not for failures; instead, they equip trainees with the skills and knowledge required to become job creators.
“Let’s not look down upon blue jobs they pay good money,” he said.
Nyaore TVET has consistently excelled in national examinations, and the candidates are determined to continue this tradition of excellence.
