Real Estate firm, Optiven under its charity wing, Optiven Group Foundation has intervened to save lives of Kenyans residing in drought striken areas.
Currently, some areas are experiencing a lengthy drought that has affected various areas in the Northern part of the country.
Yesterday, Optiven Foundation, Charman, Mr George Wachiuri led the company in giving a donation towards the drought mitigation through its #FeedOneMore intervention which aims to effectively cater for a population of over 200,000 people in Marsabit County.
While launching the programme, Wachiuri observed, “cognizant of this immense need for humanitarian action in Marsabit County, We are honored to be a part of this activity and invite you to Partner in this noble social action at this time. We appeal for Food donations which should include maize meal flour, rice, cooking oil, beans, green grams, salt, long life milk 250ML, Corn Soya porridge or Wimbi & 20kg carry bag/sack”.
