Peace has been a major factor that has greatly contributed towards many development projects in our society. However, some of the civilians being backed by the leaders who were elected in order to prioritize the civilian’s needs but in turn they have totally detached from their expected roles and end up fueling conflict whose main base is for their own personal gains.
In addition to that, the general public has remained uninformed on the importance of living in togetherness with only the victims of election violence who truly acknowledge what it calls for to promote peace. It is of great interest to try to establish and maintain good relationship aimed at promoting national prosperity.
Even as the political pressures in the country continue to go on a rise, it is brotherly that we as Kenyans execute our civic right of voting for leaders of our own choice based on integrity and not ethnicity. Perhaps the big question remains ‘who is responsible to create a harmonious environment that will enable All Kenyan to stay at peace?’.
Therefore, I urge each person to stay rooted to his/her human conscience .Let us not be conformed to the divisive politics because at the end the goals to achieve remains at our own hands.
