Previously, African Nations championship (CHAN) has been scheduled for February, but now it has moved forward in slight changes to August 2025.
This is an advantage to Kenya as a country and a team because it will give more time to prepare.
As a team, Kenya has a lot of things that needs to be worked on,this was evidenced in some matches under the former coach Engin Firat and even post Firat’s tenure in mapinduzi cup Early this month in Zanzibar.
It will be a big pleasure to host the African tournament alongside Tanzania and Uganda, but this will sound well only if we maintain the winning spree and even clinch the top most spot in the competition.
This will only come if Kenya as a country will give much support to the team, then the team on their side needs to play for Kenyans by being patriots.
The incoming new Harambee stars coach needs to work on the things that cost Stars in qualifying for the 2025 AFCON in Morocco, now there is an advantage of like five good months to help the team to rectify and tighten the loose ends so that by August Harambee stars will be ready to fight for CHAN’s championship.
It’s an advantage for Kenya as a country since it has now more time to finalize the ongoing renovations at Kasarani stadium .
