Worth Noting:
- It is clear that wherever there is injustice and corruption, morality tends to weaken and become vulnerable. Conversely, wherever wisdom and rationality reign supreme, morality is empowered. During the pandemic in 2020, many young people turned to electronic media for education and information.
- However, they were also exposed to harmful online content that could have negative impacts on their spiritual well-being. The majority of today’s youth rely on the internet as their primary source of information. However, without developing a strong immunity to harmful content, they risk being negatively influenced by the “junk” information that is prevalent on the internet. Why is this so?
Protecting youth from spiritual threats in the modern world is a demand of our time, aimed at preserving our nation’s historical memory and preparing young people to take confident steps towards the future, without succumbing to negative influences. At the same time, as globalization intensifies around the world, there are sharp changes taking place in the international relations system. Today, the power struggles for dominance in the international arena are posing a challenge to our country’s security, and our young people are being exposed to various forms of harmful propaganda that can poison their thoughts and ideas about the future.
The outbreak of COVID-19 in 2019 pushed young people further into the virtual world, disconnecting them from traditional educational systems. This has had negative effects on their health, as well as disrupting the circulation of blood in their bodies. Moreover, it has led to the erosion of their critical thinking skills and their withdrawal from real-life experiences, which can negatively impact our society’s future. However, this does not mean that we should avoid using electronic tools altogether. On the contrary, we need to ask ourselves why we use computers in the first place, and what our goals are. Many problems arise from aimlessness. The proliferation of online advertisements, for example, can create pressure on citizens to consume more than they need to, promote unhealthy ideas, and create conflicts between different social groups. Therefore, it is important to trust only reliable and official sources of information when using electronic media.
It is clear that wherever there is injustice and corruption, morality tends to weaken and become vulnerable. Conversely, wherever wisdom and rationality reign supreme, morality is empowered. During the pandemic in 2020, many young people turned to electronic media for education and information. The majority of today’s youth rely on the internet as their primary source of information. However, without developing a strong immunity to harmful content, they risk being negatively influenced by the “junk” information that is prevalent on the internet. Why is this so? Many young people are not paying enough attention to their spiritual well-being, and are instead being influenced by Western TV shows and movies, as well as other forms of propaganda that can undermine our national identity and values. Therefore, it is important to instill in young people a sense of loyalty to their homeland and its traditions, and to encourage them to serve their country and uphold its values.
In conclusion, protecting young people from spiritual threats in the modern world is a complex issue that requires a multi-faceted approach. We need to help young people develop strong immunity to harmful content, while also instilling in them a sense of loyalty to their homeland and its values. By doing so, we can help ensure that our society’s future is bright and prosperous.
