Realizing that my life is for only one day.
Thoughts overflow in my mind, but words nothing to say.
Recall my old memories with happiness and gay.
Will be with my family, and I wish to stay.
But in my inner mind, I always pray.
Oh God! I give my family in your hands all way.
Love and take care of them anyway.
Thank you for giving me a day more to stay.
To hand over my family in your hands today.
And fulfill my duties and responsibilities that play.
Protect them from all negatives that make them as prey.
As I am no more and leave them midway.
This is what I wish to convey.
And I am lucky and thankful for giving me life for one more day.
Really fortunate to know they are safe in your hands by way.
She is Susi Jean R, born and brought up in Nagercoil, K. K. Dist. She did her graduation in English from S.T. Hindu College in 1989.
She is working as a Help desk Executive in “Community Blood Centre”, Technopark. She has been exploring different dimensions through gardening, and cooking . She has extensive terrace gardening. She enjoys experimenting with Indian cuisines.She was reintroduced into creating writing last year through a group called “Creative Writers”.Author in her was stirred and challenged through the daily challenges that was set up. Now, she has reached a level where she cannot end a day without scribbling few of her thoughts into lines.
