Lesotho is a landlocked country; it is encircled by the Republic of South Africa.
Lesotho is not part or colony of South Africa, it is an independent state.
On 4th October 1966, The colony of Basutoland was proclaimed free from Great Britain, and Moshoeshoe ll became a king, while Jonathan Leabua of Basotho National party became a Prime Minister. The country became Lesotho 🇱🇸.
Lesotho is known for beautiful scenery such as Mountains such as Thaba Ntlenyane, and Thaba bosiu and beautiful National parks such as Sehlabathebe.Tourists visit Lesotho for the flora and fauna.
Basotho are the Bantu, reason they got language similarly to Setswana language.
A person from Lesotho is called Mosotho singular, and people from Lesotho are Basotho , there is nothing like Lesothoan/Lesothonian!
The Language is called Sesotho.
Their currency is Lesotho Loti.
However Lesotho has a national beer and is named as or called Maluti!
Lesotho, Swaziland and Botswana shared a University in the past called the University of Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland.
Another reason to blow a candle, another day to eat a cake, Lesotho might be a small nation but it is slowly but surely turning into a more developed country in terms of intellect, the revolution is evident, who knew this development could happen?
A dedication to Bothata Kennedy Silase , Thakane Rethabile Shale, Lineo Matlakala, Ntswana Tsatsi and many beautiful and smart individuals who continue to make Lesotho proud!
The future is youth, continue to rise above horizons and the sky is the limit!
Joyeux anniversaire, Feliz anniversario Meus amigos.
