SasaPay Kenya has launched SasaPOS, an integrated payment and business management platform aimed at streamlining operations for merchants and enterprises across the country, as the company deepens its push into Kenya’s rapidly evolving digital payments market.
SasaPay is a mobile money e-wallet and digital payment service provider licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Kenya. Operated by Viewtech Limited, the platform provides interoperable financial solutions that allow users to send, receive, and make payments across different mobile networks and banks in Kenya and Tanzania.
SasaPOS consolidates multiple functions into a single interface, enabling businesses to collect payments, generate payment prompts, create payment links, process withdrawals, access real-time reporting, and manage operators from one centralised system β removing the operational complexity that has long frustrated small and medium-sized enterprises juggling several disconnected tools.
Speaking at the launch, Chief Executive Officer Stephen Kaguchia said the new solution reflects SasaPay’s commitment to empowering businesses through secure and innovative financial technology. “Our goal is to simplify payments for businesses while strengthening financial inclusion. With SasaPOS, enterprises can collect payments professionally, track transactions instantly, and scale with confidence,” Kaguchia said.
The launch comes as Kenyan businesses accelerate their shift toward digital financial tools, driven by changing customer expectations and growing demand for real-time visibility into business performance. SasaPOS is designed to serve enterprises of all sizes, from small traders to larger organisations seeking reliable, scalable payment infrastructure.
Industry observers say the platform’s breadth of features positions SasaPay as a more direct competitor to established players in the merchant payments space β a segment that has grown significantly in recent years as Kenya’s cashless economy expands.
Kaguchia has previously signalled SasaPay’s ambition to offer customers the lowest transaction costs in the industry, positioning the platform as an accessible choice for both individuals and businesses. SasaPOS appears to be the most concrete expression yet of that vision β practical, consolidated, and built for the realities of doing business in Kenya today.
SasaPOS: One platform. Unlimited growth.
