Jjemba was a renowned sports boy; he loved a lot to indulge himself in athletics. He could win at district and regional levels. One time it was a national competition, ‘go on your marks, set set – go’ as the usual sound to set off the athletes.
The first round, even the second; Jjemba was leading – and so the cheer leaders and team were singing ….
Jjemba ……. Our man x 2
Aw! Jjemba’s short loosened in the waist, and so it was falling! Jjemba had a thousand thoughts in his mind. When the short could fall, he didn’t have any boxer or underpants inside – you know village games at that time. So he held it by one hand. Behold, it is obvious that when you let one hand support the short, you cannot run faster. So other runners began overtaking him.
His cheer leaders and team were concerned, so they sang …… Jjemba …… hand off the short x 2. Subsequently, Jjemba let the short fall and he superfast ran – ofcourse naked.
Guess what, cheer leaders and team changed the singing to; Jjemba …… x 2 – {feel free to complete the song……Haha…}
Be challenged, what is holding you a prisoner – forgive. Let the short fall, and choose to let go! Why are you a captive, slave of un-forgiveness? Forgive and be free. “It’s not an easy journey, to get to a place where you forgive people. But it is such a powerful place because it frees you.” — Tyler Perry. “The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.” — Mahatma Gandhi.
To forgive is to set the prisoner free, and discover that the prisoner was you.
