Taufiq Rafat was born on Novermber 27, 1927 . He Is said to be from the subcontinent and his family was later combined with the city of Sialkot in Pakistan . Taufiq Riffat is an important poet of Pakistani English Literature . His poetry beautifully reflects Pakistani culture , rural life and Eastern Civilization . His poems also reveal the conflict between Eastern traditions and Western influences .
