An iconic freedom fighter, a then prominent revolutionary leader, a patriot and a great Indian nationalist was he! His contribution in freedom acquisition was mesmerizing. He was undoubtedly a remarkable brave and courageous leader.
He was deeply inspired by Bhagvat Gita in his sacrifices and struggles against the British. Though he was jailed many times, nothing was of more importance to him, than his nations freedom, and his focus on his goal could never be tampered.
He created his own army, “AZAD HIND FAUJ”, to free our land mother India from the clutches of the shrewd British, and never feared them, irrespective of their scary unjust behaviour. He didn’t stop at this; he set up Azad hind Radio in Berlin after setting up Free India in Berlin.
He made the bulletins available in several languages like English, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Pashto, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu. He also created a political entity called “ALL INDIA FORWARD BLOCK.” This was not enough; he also created the Indian Legion in Europe to speed up the process of freedom fight.
He is popularly known as NETAJI, and his dialogue, “GIVE ME BLOOD, I WILL GIVE YOU FREEDOM, “created a revolution, and is just unforgettable. His popular and unforgettable battle revolutionary dialogue was “DILLI CHALO”, which means let’s go to Delhi and fight against the British played a major role in bringing freedom to our lovely country.
He made sure, that the foundation of our soldiers and army is truly unshakeable. He wanted to eradicate poverty, diseases and illiteracy from our country and also dependency on other countries, hence today the Aatma Nirbhar Bharat movement had created a revolution. We must definitely share this great man’s story to our kids and future generation, to teach them patriotism, honesty and selfless loyalty, love and respect.
