The Mt Kenya Times 
No matter what the devil tries, if there is someone who loves you and keeps persisting, the devil will lose. Sometimes the flesh gets tired, but the Holy Spirit never gets tired of loving. It is wonderful to see what God does. Pastor Hayes gives an account and struggle with his daughter, and the eventual victory, he states: “The greatest thrill of my life was seeing my daughter sitting on the front row at church and Christian meetings, and later, seeing her get up and speak at meetings. For three years, I went through hell with her. She did not darken the door of the church during that time. She would not even go to one service.”
Sometimes a case may seem hopeless. But the love of Jesus works for everybody. Just keep loving them, but do NOT allow those people to cause confusion for others. People are controlled by evil spirits without even knowing, they find themselves doing things that are wrong, and according to them, they believe they are in the right. Even after revealing to them the truth of the matter, they are still adamant, and even get approval and support from others. In fact, they get infuriated because you have revealed to them the truth, and even resolve to attack and defame you. Indeed, as it is written in 1 Thessalonians 2:4 “ For we speak as MESSENGERS APPROVED BY GOD to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, NOT people. HE ALONE examines the motives of our hearts.”
What else can it be that afflicts people to these wrongs and idle talks; except the guiling and deceptive spirits of evil? It is a reality which most people do NOT know; that people are infested and oppressed by evil/ foul spirits that affect or determine their character, how they talk and their perspective of life. Even in an effort to hide it, it eventually comes out and those with a discerning/understanding Spirit of God are able to recognise what it is. It is a sad affair, and that is why as ministers/servants of God we must dive deeper into fervent prayers and always pray in the Spirit. For in the Spirit of God, there is victory.
