Tribute to Kenya, as fellow Africans feel the same pain of this natural drouth catastrophe you face. May The Mighty Father reveal His Power in making this come to an end! We Pray in Colligation as Black

ollaborative Poem by:

This drouth, a labyrinth course,
Claustrophobically subverting
The innocent demesne
And quashing life to shadows of
Existence
Here and all over, a cluster
Of volcanic magma predominate,
Dropping denizens, flora and
fauna into this cravious caldera
With life enslaved in this noose
Like small birds flapping for freedom.
Parched fields conjuring upon the
Blank skies
To cloudburst and lactate the
Swithering earth
Whose eye seem to be, but barren,
The barn swallow ceased the rain
Envoking songs and retiring to their
Cuddles,
The cicada left many seasons
Ago
For this unnatural hibernation and
Never recalled,
Swarths of wastelands sprawl before
African soils,
As hope took flight in wings of despair,
With tears flowing like Divine sweat,
An aftermath of arduous creation.
The cadavers digress like unwanted
Grain. All dignity robbed
And in this wake of inglorious trials,
And tribulations,
Arise and surf over the tides,
For our quest is our hope,
Through this perilous pilgrimage,
We shall all pass,
Singed but more resolute and determined.
