Collaborative Poem by:

With unbarrelled hope, the ugly Duckling
Traverses these tones of menace;
The asceptic spheres of social evil
Worming underneath to rise from
The deep shaft of this despicable life
With Hope nurtured in every step within
Her sadness
Yet the Mockerbirds mimic songs from
This wound of life and spurn,
Forgeting about the night foreboding Moonshine;
This undeniable nature’s transmutation
And keep tossing the buds on
The thrones of dishonour,
To merely satiate their ego, expediency,
As they watch promising dream
Hobbling, fluttering its broken wing, half
In the slack,
When the trees dance in cadence of Pollution breeze,
In this house of impunity
We find the accursed duckling, her looks Are many
But it’s a light hid in the tunnel,
Men have always condemned her
In the bright darkness of these peripheral Metallic thorns
Which bruise her body everyday,
But her joy is; her beauty is from within
Where hope radiates the world,
Where spring of life awakens dry bones Of barrenness
But the beauty of a soul lies tangential To uncertainty,
She sees the future, though its monoeyed!
