In a detailed statement at a Shell station in Nairobi, the company’s Managing Director, Peter Murungi, outlined the stringent measures in place to ensure that their fuel consistently meets international standards.
“For the last 100 years, we have offered our customers premium products in the market. Shell V-Power, for instance, meets the RON Standard rating of 95, which is a testament to our dedication to quality. He also noted that Vivo Energy Kenya’s quality assurance process is meticulous, starting from the moment fuel is loaded at the supply sites. Each batch undergoes thorough checks and inspections at ISO-approved laboratories in Mombasa, as well as Shell labs in both Nairobi and Mombasa. To further ensure top-notch quality, the company conducts daily tests to monitor critical parameters, such as color and water content.
