Warembo na Raila lobby group was formed in November, 2021 by Lillian Aketch to support H.E Raila Amolo Odinga’s presidential bid, political campaigns and ultimate election as the 5th president of the republic if Kenya come 9th August, 2022.

Warembo na Raila

Time, resources and energy not withstanding, Warembo na Railas structured leadership blended into Aketchs vision for the lobby group as they shared their aspirations to build the strong and vibrant outfit admired today.

With a national membership of slightly over 3000 Babas foot soldiers, the advocacy group has grown into a big brand in all the 47 Kenyan constituencies with the diaspora not left behind.

Having to transverse the whole country while spreading word of Odingas agendas to Kenyans, the group has been able to collect important information on the challenges, strategies to use, and solutions unique to regions in Kenya. This they do by allowing the public participation of locals aimed at understanding them through advocacy and deliberations on an elaborate policy implementation work plan.

From door to door, to caravans and digital sensitization campaigns, the group members have managed to drive Odingas 10 points agenda, encouraged voters and ODM party membership registration, spread a word of peace to violence prone areas and brought hope to our communities through CSR activities.

Working tirelessly to accomplish their mission of actively mobilizing votes for their preferred presidential candidate Baba the 5th will bear fruit, time will be a fair judge to show if their vision of winning the August 9 election with adequate representation in all houses will be a reality.
