Kenya Kwanza Alliance presidential candidate Dr William Ruto yesterday made his last campaign meeting in Nyeri County ahead of Tuesday’s General Election.
Dr Ruto visited the most populous constituencies in the county where he implored upon the voters to support his bid as the fifth Head of State.
He addressed mammoth crowds at Naromoru township in Kieni constituency, Nyeri town which is in Nyeri Town constituency and Karatina in Mathira constituency.
At the same time, his running mate and Mathira constituency Member of Parliament Rigathi Gachagua urged the locals not to let him down and instead vote in candidates who were being sponsored by United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
In those meetings, those present vowed to support the Kenya Kwanza coalition leaders.
Others who accompanied the duo were Nyeri County governor Mwalimu Mutahi Kahiga, County Women Representative Rahab Mukami Wachira, UDA senatorial candidate Eng. Wahome Wamatinga among others.
Also present were Kieni constituency parliamentary candidate on UDA ticket Njoroge Wainaina and his Nyeri Town counterpart Duncan Maina Mathenge.
