World Bank Mission Preparations Meetings For The National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) Project Implementation

Yesterday, Micro Small Entreprises Authority management led by the Business Marketing Development Trade (BMDT) Team Lead Caroline  Kioko, representing MSEA Director General & CEO, Henry RithaaCorporate Services Director,  Simon Nyamolo hosted the World  Bank Mission Team led by the Task Team Leader Kevin Herania and Co- task Team Leader Federica Ricardi. Present during the meeting were other Government entities; Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports (MOYASA), National Industrial Training Authority (NITA), National Social Security Fund (NSSF), National Employment Authority (NEA).

The Mission meetings kick started on 27th May 2024 and will continue until 6th June 2024. Focus areas of discussion included highlights on the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA)

Component 2 that is targeting 110,000 youth towards supporting entrepreneurship across the 47 counties among other core details that will support the successful rollout of the project.
