Youth advocate Okeng’o drops off his Kisii senatorial bid, elected Chair leading UDA presidential team.

Youth advocate Okeng’o Nyambane dropped his Kisii senatorial bid after wider consultation from UDA executive.
Mr Okeng’o was then elected as a chair person leading presidential campaign team in Gusii region.
He has been assisting the vulnerable families even those languishing from poverty constructing them houses.
Speaking with the press at Kisii County, Kisii youth president Kevin Mosomi said that the move was made after wider consultation was made.
Mr Mosomi said that they believe in Mr Okengo since he has leadership skills.
“We believe in him, we know that he can deliver,we encourage public to work hand in hand with to ensure that they form the next government,”Mr Mosomi said.
Mr Mosomi asked youths to desist from leaders who want to use them to cause violence and instead focus on offering solutions to the country’s challenges citing unemployment.
His sentiments was echoed by Ms Sipporah Kemunto said that, this time round they are going to elect visionary leaders.
“This time we are engaging in agenda based political competition, and Dr Ruto has it,”Kemunto said.
She said they will rally behind Dr Ruto because he has the best development agenda for the region.
Mr Osano Masega , a youth pleaded to the electorates to use the power of the ballot to elect accountable leadership.
Masega cites that some politicians will come with goodies, but public should vote wisely for growth and good governance.
Mr Okeng’o urged his supporters to rally behind deputy president William Ruto to ensure he wins the election.
According to him, Dr Ruto he has interest of people at heart and they are ready to work and support him to ensure he becomes the fifth president.
He called on politicians to conduct peaceful campaigns and demonstrate a high level of tolerance to ensure peace prevails in the lead up, during and after the elections.
“What we want is peaceful campaigns,”he said.
He asked residents to eschew all forms of negative activities that would threaten the peaceful conducting of the polls.
Mr Okeng’o advised politicians to desist from using vulgar language and trading insults while on the campaign trail that could trigger violence.
