All learning institution have been directed by Education CS professor George Magoha today 01/08/2022.This was to create time and space for the preparation of General Elections ahead. This was contrary to what he had earlier said about school closing from August 6.
This decision has made because many learning institution are used by IEBC as polling. Therefore the commission will have adequate time to prepare those places in there try to have fair and free elections 2022.
But this decision has brought shock to both parents and teachers. Many of them hadn’t expected an immediate closure of school. A quite number of them are happy because the children will have two week break to help them with home chores.
The semester will start will resume on 15th August.
